How to join as engineer in All india Radio and Doordarshan ..

All India Radio and Doordarshan is now under Prasar Bharati , Ministry of Information and Broadcasting .Prasar bharati is a autonomous organisation . Recruitment of Graduate engineers are banned since 1997. Now prasar bharti recruiting graduate engineer as Engineering Assistant which is lower post equivalent to junior engineer in CPWD .

Education Qualification is BE or B.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics & Communication engineering .
Age : Maximum 27

Promotional Scope :
Graduate join as a Engineering Assistant , Senior EA , Assistant Engineer , Assistant Director E , Dy Director ,Director,Dy DG ,Additional DG , Engineer in Chief . Assistant Director recruited by UPSC now it's closed since 1997 .

Technician can join as a career if you are Diploma in Engineering . The maximum promotional avenue is up to Sr EA or AE ..
Department is now downgrading due to no scope of expansion .
